AURA ALLIANCE – TRANSFORMING INTO A MULTI-VENDOR COMPANY

Multi-national business is far from one dimensional. Today, companies need several technologies to accommodate their changing needs. They also need support for those multiple vendors in several countries.

The Aura Alliance has become renowned as a specialist alliance of Avaya partners across the globe. We make it easy to deploy and manage Avaya technology internationally. But with business needs changing, we decided it is time to adapt.

At our 2017 annual partner conference in Miami, we announced the beginning of a transition into an open, multi-vendor global alliance. Read on as we look at the changes, our 3-year strategy and how it will benefit both partners and end-users.

 

Avaya-centric

Since being founded in 2009, the Aura Alliance has specialised in Avaya technology. We’re experts in their array of technology, with over 3,200 Avaya-accredited specialists making us the world’s largest Avaya-endorsed global alliance. It’s fair to say Avaya unified communications (UC) solutions are at our core.

However, real-world business means mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, with companies – and their technology of choice – coming together. The result is a multitude of UC solutions, which often varies from region to region. As an alliance that’s committed to providing a single point of contact for clients, we need to support multiple technologies.

 

An ecosystem of technologies

Our journey towards a global multi-vendor service began with key partners, who are widening their focus from Avaya to an ecosystem of technologies. Equipped with expertise for several key technologies, the aim is to better support their customers across the board and support the alliance more broadly.

More technologies, wider speciality

Don’t worry. Our relationship with Avaya is stronger than ever. And we will continue to work together solidly, both with Avaya and our partners, to offer the best support to our customers.

Over the next three years, however, the alliance will be introducing specialist support for Cisco and Microsoft Skype for Business, to offer a comprehensive array of unified communication solutions to its customers. This will go hand-in-hand with cloud-based vendors, like Genesys, Tata, Nectar, Ribbon and RMG to provide the optimal integration for any client.
